I am looking for a real estate analyst; perhaps you know of someone that might be interested. I'm not talking about a job for someone to sit in a room, cold-calling or crunching numbers. No, an analyst with an eye to becoming a developer one day. What's it going to take? The individual needs to have personality so that he/she does not feel awkward talking to strangers to get information. The individual needs to have a college degree because he/she has to know a minimum about a bunch of things. Like, for example, geometry to figure out what the size of a parcel is from its dimensions, and no, it's not always length x width. The individual will need to have to have taken history so that he/she will know how to research the ownership of properties. If not, I might get a great deal on a landfill. The individual will have to have taken accounting so that they will know the difference between debits and credits to figure out if a deal makes sense. They’ll also have to have performed well in English writing classes because I don't want spend my time editing their papers. They’ll also need to be mature.
The Analyst will need to know how to listen, interpret and act.
What I mean by this is that I am going to filter and feed the Analyst information about real estate transactions, opportunities and ideas that might, from time to time, slip into my head. They are going to explore the information for possible real estate deals. We are licensed real estate brokers and state certified general contractors. One of our partners is a real estate attorney so paperwork is a breeze. I've been developing for several clients (and myself) for 20 years.
We need an analyst to remand what is in my head to profits. Does this describe someone you might know? Our offices are in Boca Raton. Our trade area has primarily been South Florida but we've done work all over the State. We do retail real estate development.
A qualified analyst is welcome to come learn how to use the tools in our toolbox!
